This tombstone listing from a reading of the Mosher Cemetery from the Morrow Co., Gen/Hist Society is presumed to be that of Huldah Bogue Smith, a native of South Carolina, wife of Aaron Smith. The Mosher Cemetery, unless it has been restored in recent years, was overgrown with many of the tombstones having fallen over in a ravine part of this small cemetery. There are at least seven Smith tombstones: Huldah, Tamer, John B. and Thomas R. (sons of Joseph and Frances), Elizabeth, Joseph and Frances. Huldah Smith's tombstone has likely been misread- died 12 Jan 1868, 26y, 9m, 4d.

Aaron Smith, son of Nehemiah and Tamer Smith, and Mrs. Huldah Bogue Smith (widow of a William Smith, a native of Virginia and perhaps a distant relative of her second husband) were married 8 Apr 1824 in Guernsey Co., OH. She was dismissed about the time of her marriage which would indicate that Aaron was out of unity. They moved with the other Smith relatives from Guernsey Co. to Morrow Co. where Huldah died.

Huldah's children by first marriage to William Smith, whom she married in 1811 in Harrison Co., OH:
1. George Smith m. Mary E. Clements.
2. Josiah Smith.
3. Amos Smith.
4. Unknown.
Huldah's children by second marriage to Aaron Smith:
1. Cynthia Smith m. George W. Stewart and moved to Le Sueur Co., MN.
2. Mary m. Edward Laycock.
3. William H. Smith m. Sally Ann ---- of Plymouth, IN.
4. Henry D. Smith m. Laura/Sarah Smith of Cardington, OH.
