HOMER, LA - Services for Mrs. Lurline Braswell, 78, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 1997 at Homer Church of Christ. Officiating will be Mr. Don Tate, assisted by Barge Elmore and Ray Anderson. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery in Homer, La.
Mrs. Braswell died Wednesday September 3, 1997 at Homer Memorial Hospital. She was born in Columbia County, AR and was a resident of Homer, LA. Mrs. Braswell was a member of the Homer Church of Christ and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Theodore Braswell, two brothers, Dick Hutcheson and Lester Hutcheson, sister, Nobia Baker and great-grandson, Connor Glen Simpson.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Patricia Braswell of Cordova, TN, Two daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbie and Charles and Shirley and Eddie Simpson all of Homer, La., sister, Laurie Lee of Columbia County, AR, two brothers, Cooksey Hutcheson of Gilberton, AL and James Hutcheson of Mena, AR; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mark Copeland, Bruce Simpson, Brett Simpson, Brad Simpson, Dale Sindle and Scott Braswell.
