Alexandra "Aleka" Galitzine Armour, 101, of Lake Forest, IL, passed away Dec. 5, 2006. Mrs. Armour was the widow of the late Lester Armour and was born in the Province of Novgorod, Russia. She was preceded in death by her son Rostislav Romanoff Jr. Mrs. Armour is survived by four grandchildren, Stephena A. Romanoff, Alexandra Romanoff, Rostislav Romanoff III and Nikita Romanoff; and five stepchildren, Elizabeth Hollins, Lester Armour Jr., Stanton Armour, Vernon Armour and Leola MacDonald. A funeral service for Mrs. Armour will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, at Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 1121 N. Leavitt St., Chicago, IL 60622. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Armour's name to the Woman's Board of Rush University Medical Center, 1725 W. Harrison St., Suite 545, Chicago, IL 60612.
