Verna C. Toulouse, 94, of Ferndale and formerly of Royal Oak, died Friday, October 12, 2006, at home in Ferndale. She was born May 21, 1912, in Pigeon.

She was a loving person who will be missed by her entire family, but never forgotten.

She was predeceased by husband John William Toulouse, Jr., on May 19, 1981; brother Earl Volz; and grandchildren David Pepper and Wayne Gibson.

Surviving are children Jean (Frank) Pepper of Ferndale, and Shirley (Bernie) Lowthian of Ozark, Alabama; sister Dolores (Ed) Neumann; grandchildren John Pepper, Michael (Beth) Pepper, James (Audrey) Gibson; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

Visitation 3-9 p.m. today at Hopcroft Funeral Home, Hazel park; services 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home; officiating Pastor Cory Fanning; burial, White Chapel memorial Cemetery, Troy.
