OBITUARY-
Loretta Dorothy Pater, 86, of Hayfield, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at Fieldcrest Nursing Home.
She was born in Waltham to Carl and Anna (Paape) Ehmke on Sept. 2, 1915.
She was a member of the St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Waltham.
She was a homemaker and active in many church organizations.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Dean (Darlene) Pater, Derby, Kan.; daughter and son-in-law, Gloria (Tom) Breigenzer, Silver Thorn, Colo.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Martin Ehmke, Austin; sisters, Luella Haage, Woodstock Ill.; Lucille Peterson, Rochester N.Y., nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Pater; son, Eugene; and two brothers, Melvin and Maynard Ehmke.
Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, at the funeral home and at the church one hour before the service.
Service: 2 p.m., Monday, at St. Michael's Lutheran Church near Waltham with Rev. John Heruth officiating.
Interment: St. Michael's Lutheran Cemetery, Waltham
