She was born Oct. 30, 1925, in Chicago. She graduated from Manley High School in Chicago. She married Joseph G. Scotillo on April 20, 1947, in Chicago. They were married for 62 years. He preceded her in death in 2009.
She lived in Crystal Lake from 1950 until her death. She worked at Black Dot Printing Co. in Crystal Lake as a proofreading supervisor for many years, retiring in the early 1990s. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
She is survived by her children, the Honorable John J. (Nancy) Scotillo and Christine M. Scotillo (Douglas Peine); her grandchildren, Mary Scotillo and Nicholas Peine; her sisters-in-law, Genevieve Rohen, Mary F. Hartnett and Lyn Scotillo; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Christine Auriemma; her sisters, Genevieve Fiduccia, Helen Serpico, and Stella Manago; and her brothers, John Auriemma and James Auriemma.
