She married John B. Mendenhall 26 Sep 1873 in Hardin Co., IA. They had the following children: Clyde, Zula Z., Grace, Sylvia, Mamie, Paul A., Alice E., Ruth Ann, and Helen G., The family moved from Iowa to Nebraska and then on to Oregon sometime after 1910.
John Mendenhall died in 1917, and Jane married John Elias Smith 28 Sep 1918.
