Mrs. Quincy Charlotte Young, age 78, of Hilliard, Florida, passed away Friday afternoon (6/19/20) at her residence following an extended illness.
Born September 6, 1941 in Jacksonville, Florida, she lived many years in Jacksonville before moving to Hilliard in 1999. She was a longtime housewife and was a member of Buford Grove Baptist Church in Hilliard.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Wilma Marguerite Wildes Hust and Louis Hust; her father, William Myers; and her sister, Diane Casavant.
Survivors include her husband, John Raymond Young of Hilliard; son, J.R. Young (wife Maureen) of St. Augustine; daughter, Jeanette Watt (husband Tom) of Hilliard; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 3 more on the way; and several other relatives.
A funeral service will take place Saturday morning (6/27/20) at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hart Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Waters Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the Buford Grove Baptist Church, 553274 US-1, Hilliard, FL 32046.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Buford Grove Baptist Church Youth Department.
