I find a city Directory for Elsie S. Eells, living in 1941 and 1949 at 915 S. Peninsula Dr. Daytona Beach, Florida living with spouse Burn G. Eells. In 1951, Elsie S. and Burr G. live in Daytona Beach (spelled correctly this time). Also living there in 1955 and in 1958.

1892 Census, she is 12 living in Winfield, Herkimer, NY.

A family tree gives her middle name. confirms parents and gives more dates. Daughter of Myron Arlington Spicer (1853-1870) and Florence Brace (1850 - ) Half Sibling Bertha B. Spicer (1885-1964) but no mother is given (might not be true) because Elsie is older and they all are living together in 1892 above). Bertha marries Roy Armstrong (1883) and has son Floyd Spicer Armstrong (1913-2005.
Elsie marries Burr Gould 1904 - 1981 in West Winfield, NY on Aug 19, 1902 at the age of 21.

She will be away for 6 month to do research in the following places:Portugal, Azores, Spain, Cuba in each of these places she wants to research Spanish _____ (can't read the last word). Aboard the Brittania, having never had a passport before. She is40, 5 foot 6 inches, medium forehead, green eyes, short nose, medium mouth, round chin, brown hair, fair complexion and oval face. Then Burr Gould Eells swears that they live in Babylon, NY and that he has known Elsie for 22 years. He is a teacher for what looks like Commerical High School, Brooklyn, NY. There address is Box 536 Babylon, NY. The picture is from her application. Then is attached a letter who wrote that her research is for literary work for which she has undertaken on behalf of the Hispanic Societyand that she should be granted the passport. Then a letter from Robert B. Marvin who is a cousin of Burr Gould Eells states that Burr Gould Eells was born in Walton, NY on or about August 19, 1875 and that he has know Burr since his birth and the family connections before them for two generations. He is also a tacher in Brooklyn, NY
