His two wives, Sarah and Mary, were sisters. They were the daughters of Jacob and Sarah (Jewett) Boardman, born in Newburyport, 1779 and 1782 respectively. Sarah died Aug. 4, 1808, a. 29 y. and is buried in Highland Cemetery, Newburyport.
