Ruthann David, age 68, the beautiful wife of SgtMajor Henry David USMC retired, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2015 at home in Riverside, CA, with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Henry; her 3 children, Michael David, Michelle (Morgan) and Maggie (Curella); 8 wonderful grandchildren; father Frank Loughney; mother-in-law Edith Loughney; brother Frank Loughney and extended family. She was born on October 3, 1946 in Scranton, PA to the parents of Frank and Ruth Loughney. Ruthann graduated from West Scranton High School in 1964 and soon thereafter married her high school sweetheart, Henry David. A dedicated military wife of 30 years had the opportunity to travel and live in a variety of wonderful places. She was an ardent sewer and quilter and co-owned "Giggles" custom kids' wear clothing business with her best friend Dorothy Hopko. Ruth retired from the County of Riverside in 2008. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Communion service Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM in St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, 7050 Brockton Ave., Riverside, CA 92506. Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00PM at the VFW Post 9223, 10303 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505.
