Samuel married Elizabeth Davies on 1 May 1815 at Nantwich. They were both of the parish, married after banns & made their marks in the presence of James Blagg, Phoebe Pace, Thomas Brooke. They had two children who survived infancy John Pedley 1822 - 1880 and Ellen Pedley 1825 - 1839.

He died in 1831 and was buried at Nantwich on 16 March 1831.
