George "Butch" Reece, 66, of Carnegie, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on July 2, 2015 after a lengthy illness, with his friend by his side. Butch was born on October 14, 1948, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, to George & Jeanne McCuen Reece. Butch attended Carnegie School graduating in 1966. After graduating from High School, Butch joined The United States Air Force and honorably served in Viet Nam. He was a sales person dealing in restaurant equipment for years. Butch was a friend to everyone and would do anything he could to lend a hand to someone in need.
Survivors include his son, Jason Allen Reece; daughter, Melodee Ann Finch; his sister, Phyllis Drummond and her husband Carl; grandchildren, Jaden Connor Reece, Ronee, Zoen & Jonah Finch; his nephew, Scott Drummond; two nieces, Laura & husband Kelly Peck, Liz & husband Jarrett Spinhirne; great nephews & nieces, Matt & Kade Drummond, Kat, Annie & Maddie Spinhirne, Kile & Kelsi Peck and many friends who he considered family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George "Mutt" and Jeanne Reece, his grandparents, and niece Catherine Drummond.
