Orrin Towler Miller 06/15/19 - 04/07/05

Orrin "Bud" Miller passed away on April 7, 2005. He was born June 15, 1919 to Orrin LaRoy and Eleanor Miller in Salt Lake City. He married Lois W. Miller in the Salt Lake Temple on September 18, 1959. Orrin attended Granite High School after which he received his Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees from the University of Utah. He served in the Army during World War II in Europe. As a professional engineer he designed and built many projects in the western states, in Washington, D.C., and overseas in Guam and Iran. He served a mission to the East Central States, a work mission in Salt Lake City, and several stake missions. He also served in various Church callings throughout his life. He is survived by his wife, Lois; children, Lois (Dirk) Johnson, Shelley (Lloyd) Earl, Maureen (John) Christensen, Richard (Roni) Miller, and Roy (Alice) Miller; sister, Vilma Lewis; and 20 grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 12, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sandy Central Stake Center, 1050 E. Galena Drive (9800 S.) with viewings at the church Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45-10:45 prior to services. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy.
