In 1861 they lived at the same address and he is described as a carpenter age 43.
In 1871 he is a widower as Harriet died in 1870. He is now a farmer of 55 acres age 55.
In 1881 he is resident at Greens Farm, Pocklington, still farming age 65 and he has a new wife called Mary.
