Buddy, as he was known and beloved by family and friends, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital, Euless, Texas. He was born March 1, 1937 to R.L. Beasley and Mabel Giles Beasley. Buddy is remembered for being a professional musician and "The Buddy System Fiddle by Color Code" which he co-invented with wife, Louise Rowe-Beasley. His music career saw him travel the country playing twin fiddle with his friend and mentor Tommy Camfield, writer of the hit song "Miles and Miles Of Texas". He played with The Texas Playboys, Little Joe Carson, Hank Thompson, Billy Gray, Johnny Horton, Nat Stucky and Grand Ole Opry stars George Jones, The Carter Family, Minnie Pearl, Little Jimmy Dickens and Faron Young. He was inducted into the Western Swing Hall of Fame in 1987. Buddy's Christian faith was as a Jehovah's Witness. Most of Buddy's dear friends preceded him in death, but in life, shared his love for fishing, crabbing, and hunting, laughter, song, fiddles and guitars around a campfire, and waxing poetic verse from his dry wit and humor. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Shirley M. Beasley and brother, Jerry E. Beasley. He is survived by wife; two daughters; three grandsons and his sister. A public memorial service is planned, Sunday, Oct. 16, 7:30pm, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 490 Westpark Way, Euless, TX. A family graveside service and Committal of Ashes will be held at Silvereno Cemetery, Fouke, Arkansas.
