Chicago Tribune, July 17, 1990. "Charles Milton Andersen, 83, the owner of an Oak Lawn heating and air conditioning company, died Saturday in Geraldton, Ontario. Mr. Andersen, formerly of Oak Lawn, owned a heating and air conditioning company there for several years. He was a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers and a member of Local 597 of the pipe fitters union. Mr. Andersen was a member of Oak Lawn Lodge 1166 and the Medinah Temple. He was active in many Oak Lawn civic organizations. He is survived by his wife, Doris, married June 1950; four sons, Charles Jr., Brian, Boyd, Floyd; one daughter, Joan Vander Molen; two stepsons, Roy and Robert Yates; one brother; and one sister. Services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Zimmerman and Sandeman Memorial Chapel, 5200 W. 95th St.
Parents are Charles Martin Anderson from Norway and Marie A Niergaerd from Denmark. Siblings are Cora (Balzer), Emma E (Sorensen) and William. Father of Kitty Menendez.
