Robert worked in the Drop Forge for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 36 yrs. retiring in 1987. He was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Whitehall. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. Robert was a life member of 70yrs. at the Jones-Quigg American Legion Post 739 in Hokendauqua. He was a past financial officer for many decades, and a past Commander of the post. He was also a past Lehigh County Commander of the American Legion.
Survivors: His wife, Dorothy; his son, James and wife Brenda of Northampton; and his daughter, Rita, wife of Michael Juliano and granddaughters, Renee and Erica of Whitehall; his sisters, Gail Seyfried, and Carol, wife of Richard Wilson, both of Whitehall; He was preceded in death by his brothers, Irwin and Richard, and his sister, Doris Cramsey.
Services: Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016 at 10:00 am in Faith Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, Whitehall. Calling will be on Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 pm in the O'Donnell Funeral Home, 1064 Fifth St. N. Catasauqua, and on Thursday from 9:00-10:00 am in his church.
