Pearl lived much of her early life in Mission, Hidalgo County, Texas. She was an aunt to famed Dallas Cowboys head coach, Tom Landry. She had two children, a daughter and a son. She married Cloys Murdock in Mission, and lived several places around Texas. They were found in Big Spring, Cross Plains, San Angelo, and Ft.Worth, as well as Mission. Cloys' work was mostly as a water well driller, so necessary to life in Texas. He also ran several gasoline service stations to supplement the family income.
