MITCHELL ABBOTT DIES
Mitchell Abbott, 60, a native of Syria and for the past 30 years a resident of this city, died shortly after midnight at his home at 381 East Main St. Mr. Abbott was proprietor of a fruit and grocery store on East Main street. He leaves his widow, three brothers Elias of New York City, Demetrius and Gabriel Abbott of North Adams, and a sister Miss Sophia Abbott. The funeral was held at noon today at his home, Rev. H.S. Metcalfe officiating. Burial was in Southview cemetery.
