Theresa Claire Baxley, born August 14, 1952, took a walk with Jesus on Sunday morning, December 16, 2018, at her mother’s home on Baxley Farms with her children and loved ones by her side. A beautiful green eyed girl who lived a faith filled life believing that there was good in everyone and she was determined to find it. In her earlier career, she worked as a dental assistant and realtor. In 1990 she and her sister founded Sisters Farm. The sisters were the original growers of heirloom organic vegetables and fields of fresh flowers for cutting. Work on Sisters Farm included tours for school children. When asked about the children, Terry was quoted in an article “You end up with nothing if you can’t give back”. Her giving continues. As a floral designer she made many brides ecstatic with the beauty of the wedding she created. These endeavors later evolved when Sisters Farm moved downtown to Front Street – An antique shop where many local folks would stop by to fellowship in ways reminiscent of old times sitting on a porch on Sunday afternoons with family and friends. She was a woman of many other talents including singing, writing and composing music. Her symphony of life would introduce three loving children into the world; Gabriel Fogel, Addie Owens, and Katie Porter. She was born with a song in her heart and music in her soul. Gods’ Glory is now under her feet. She is singing with angels, forevermore. Theresa Claire is predeceased by her father Lloyd Preston Baxley and a sister Stephanie Baxley Reames. She leaves behind three children; Gabriel Baxley Fogel, Dr. Addie Rose Wilder Fogel Owens (Corey), and Leona Erin Kathleen (Katie) Porter. A mother, Kathleen Williams Baxley, a sister Kathleen Baxley Crammer (Steve) and a brother Lloyd Preston Baxley, Jr. (Connie). Four grandchildren; Ellen Preston Fogel, Thomas Albraham Fogel, Jeffery Scott Fogel, and Taylor Dawn Fogel. Many nephews and nieces. Her animals, Quarter Horse mare Misty, many dogs, three indoor cats and several stray cats. Funeral Services will be twelve o’clock Friday; December 21, 2018, at Union United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. David Canine. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday, December 21, 2018, at the church from eleven until twelve o’clock In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Francis Animal Center, 125 Ridge St, Georgetown, SC 29440, or the animal rescue of your choice. The Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Suggested edit: She is most likely buried at her family cemetery not listed on FAG. The Methodist church is just where they had the service. See her sister Stephanie's link for complete info on the family cemetery. She had been married to Leon Wilkeson of the band Lynyrd Skynyrd.
