Linda Wiggs Whitworth passed away on December 29, 2018 in New Braunfels, Texas at the age of 85 years. Honoring her wishes the rite of cremation has been accorded. Her ashes will be buried in the family plot at Forest Park cemetery in Houston, Texas at a later date. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Francis Wiggs and two of her sons, Michael and Kingston Whitworth. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William "Pat" Whitworth; son Bill Whitworth and wife Connie Poe Whitworth of New Braunfels. Her sister Alicia Landry of Dallas, Grandson Jeff Whitworth and wife Amber of Kyle, Texas, Great grandchildren Taylor and Mackenzi, Sister-in-law Laverne Sharp and husband Jon, of Austin, Texas. Linda was the first female in Texas to earn a Certified Kitchen Designer Title and helped her many clients with kitchen projects. Linda had numerous new and re-modeling projects featured in magazines across Texas. She owned the Kitchen Design Center on San Antonio Street in New Braunfels from 1980 through 1990. She then worked at home and retired in 2003.
