Edith Jean Hodges of Wheat Ridge, a secretary, died March 21. She was 89.

Services were March 25 at the Monarch Society. Interment was in Arvada Cemetery.

She was born July 19, 1906, in Kenosha, Wis. In 1937 she married Sherman O. Hodges. He is deceased. She moved to Colorado in 1940. She was employed as a secretary for the Oil and Gas Commission of the State of Colorado until her retirement.

She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Trainor, Golden, Jane Zampedro, Ohio, and Loretta Boyles, New Mexico; a brother, Dick Borkenhagen, Seattle; and 10 grandchildren.
