Son of Augustus Henry, third Duke of Grafton, by Elizabeth his second wife, daughter of the Very REv. Sir Richard Wrottesley, seventh Bart., Dean of Worcester. He was born, according to his monument, 19 Apl. 1770, and was installed Prebendary of Westminster 1 Jan 1807. He maried, 10 Sept. 1800, his cousin Caroline, youngest daughter of Vice-Admiral Hugh Pigot, by whom he left issue, and who survived him until 1 Jan. 1835.
