Our beloved mother and grandmother, Gertrude "Gerrie" E. Montano, 85, of Arroyo Seco passed away on January 7, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alejandro "Alex" Montano, 89, children, Gloria, Phillip and Nancy Montano, granddaughter, Rayla Parraz, parents, Emilio and Rosenda Jaramillo, parent in-laws, Locaido and Natividad Montano.
She is survived by her children, Irene Parraz (Raymond), Alfonso Montano (Trish), Martin Montano (Ingrid) and Francine Barnes (Darren), 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brother, Joe Jaramillo (Pat), sisters, Martha Lujan (Eloy) and Emilia Sanchez and many other relatives and friends.
Rosary will be recited on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 7 PM at Rivera Chapel in Taos. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Arroyo Seco.
