Allen DeLoyde Davis, 66, passed away June 3rd at his home in Lucedale surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones. Born in Shipman and raised in the Brushy Creek community, he lived his adult life in the Lucedale/Central area. Allen was a proud Christian and active member of Rhymes Missionary Baptist Church. He was an employee of the City of Lucedale. He was a husband, father, brother and friend to many. Allen was preceded in death by his mother Gladys Davis, father Bud Davis, brothers Rudolph Davis, Leon Davis and Marvin Davis and sisters, Vayda Shifflett and Melba Davis.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Patsy Davis; Children: Jerry L Hite Jr, Woody (Vicky) Hite, Madison (Randy) Havard and Bobby Davis. Grandchildren: Chelsey Havard, Jasmine Hite, James Hite, Skyler Hite, Anthony Hite, Hunter Hite, Wesley Hite and KenzLeigh Havard.
Also left to cherish his memory is 3 Brothers and 5 Sisters.
Pallbearers: Jacob Odom, Woody Hite, Jerry Hite, Bobby Davis, Eddie Williams, Ben Stringer, and Chase Graham;
Honorary Pallbearers: his grandchildren.
The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Rhymes Baptist Church, 1056 Lamar St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Dale Dean and Rev. William Davis officiating. Burial will be in Rhymes Baptist Church Cemetery, Lucedale.
Calling hours will be Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and Friday, June 5 from 9:00am-10:00am at Rhymes Baptist Church.
