She was born September 12, 1955 in Linton to Homer Dove and Doris June (Marshall) Cox.
Survivors include her husband, Harrison "Harry" Long of Jasonville whom she married on November 1989; children, John Vowell (Beth) of Linton, Becky Shell (Matt) of Jasonville and Kamron Long (Jane) of Bloomington; grandchildren, Trent Vowell (Hannah), Tyler Vowell, Brealynn Stackman, Maryann Shell and one on the way; great-grandson, Mason Vowell; siblings, Jimmy Cox of Marshall, Ill., Debbie Cox of Dixville and Donna Cox-Wilson of Hymera and step-father, Jim Cox of Marshall, Ill..
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Delbert Ray Vowell and daughter, Lisa Ann Vowell.
Lynn graduated Shakamak High School. She worked at Great Dane, Allomatic, Sunbeam along with several other factory jobs. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and going camping. She attended Jasonville Church of God and was quite active there. Lynn loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 and 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 with Pastor Jonathon Heard and Pastor Tracy Carpenter officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
