She was born Thursday, August 13, 1942 in Concordia, to the late Ernest Boeschen and the late Mary Boeschen (Meyer). She attended the Lutheran School in Corder, Missouri as a child and graduated from Corder High School - class of 1961. She married Donald Tracy on January 27, 1962; they were married 54 years until his passing on April 26, 2016. She and Donald moved to a farm in Concordia in 1978 and fell in love with farm life.
Irma worked as a Seamstress at the Higginsville Garment Factory and Unitog, making uniforms.
She spent 20+ years as an Avon Saleswoman.
She was a lifelong member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Corder.
After retirement she continued her love of gardening, canning, and taking care of her ducks and chickens. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with Don at their cabin at the Lake. Irma was an avid sports fan and loved cheering for her Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals.
Surviving are one son, one daughter, one brother, two sisters, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Zion Lutheran Church 500 N. Elizabeth St. Corder, MO.
A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kurt Brandon officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Cemetery. Casket Bearers: Jim Cowherd, Blake Crabtree, Bryan McGraw, Jeremy Small, Jim Small, Austin Tracy, Landon Tracy.
