George Edwin Browne, 58, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 21, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 41 years , Terry Zipperer Browne, daughter; Sharon Elizabeth Browne, son; George Edwin Browne II, two granddaughters; Brittany Elizabeth and Sadey Elizabeth. He was preceded in death by his parents; Evelyn H. & Wilkie C. Browne, and sister; Elizabeth A Browne. George graduated from Jenkins High School, Middle Georgia College and Georgia Tech. After graduating, moved to Winston-Salem, NC, started a family and was an employee with Memorex-Telex for 25 yrs. He and his family moved back to Savannah to be close to friends and family in 1998. George was a loving husband and father, and will be greatly missed. We wish him peace in the afterlife.
