Mr. Jones died at 10:05 p.m. Wednesday at Marshall County Hospital.
Mr. Jones was a retired truck driver for the Kentucky Department of Highways and was a member of Vanzora Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, June Jones; one daughter, Lorrie Vancamp of Benton; two brothers. Charles Jones of Paducah, and Marvin Jones of Benton; two grandsons, Cary L. Hargrove and Bryan McCown, both of Benton; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonnie Borders. His parents were Oscar Turner Jones and Metta L. Jones.
