Charlotte Marie "Lottie" Adams was the daughter of Solomon Adams and Nancy Bush.
She was born 2 December, 1843, in Brownville, Jefferson, Michigan.
In 1850, Charlotte was living with her parents in Pinckney, Lewis, New York.
By 1860, the family had moved to Holland, Ottawa, Michigan.
Charlotte married Henry Watson Brown, son of Watson Brown and
Diana Curtis, on 8 October, 1865, in Holland, Ottawa, Michigan.
Charlotte and Henry were the parents of 7 children: George Henry, Etta May, Flora Belle, Maria Charlotte, Margaret Salinda, Walter Seth and Mary Ann.
In 1880, the family lived in Hutchinson, Dakota Territory where Henry farmed the land.
In 1900, they had moved back to Michigan, Scottsville/Custer area. Henry was working as a carpenter. Charlotte is listed as the mother of 7, but just 2 are living.
in 1910, Henry and Charlotte are living with Charlotte's slster, Hannah Adams Calkins. Henry is working at doing odd jobs.
Henry died on 4 January, 1912, in Scottsville, Mason, Michigan. He was buried at Custer Cemetery, Scottsvile, on 7 January, 1912. He is headstone is a double, s/s with Charlotte.
Charlotte died 6 August, 1924 at Scottville, Mason, Michigan.
Buried 9 August, 1924 at Custer Cemetery.
