MR. L. H. FAITH DIES OF HEART ATTACK

Well known attorney ill only three days with grip, succumbs suddenly.

Mr. Faith was a native of Alabama, born August 31, 1846, near St. Stephens, Washington county. In his youth he attended Glenville Military School,......

He enlisted twice in the Confederate service, first with Co. A of the 32nd Ala Infantry, and second with Co. K 15th Confederate Cavalry from which unit he was paroled at Gainsville, Ala on May 14th, 1865. (see photo)

August 5, 1873 he and Pauline Elizabeth Priester, of Mobile, were married (Government Street Methodist Church) and to them were born five children.

....and in 1896 Mr. Faith took as his partner,his son, Mr. E. W. Faith, and this firm remained intact during the twenty years following untill yesterday. The firm was known as L. H. & E. W. Faith.

Besids his wife he is survived by one son Mr. Ed W. Faith: four daughters.............nine grand children, and two sisters, Mrs. Flora Atchison of Isney, Ala. and Mrs. (Medora) W. C. Stribling of Birmingham.

.....A large delegation from the Mobile Bar Association and Camp Raphael Semmes No. 11 United Confederate Veterans will accompany the remains to the grave.
