Death of G. H. Hardin

G. H. Hardin died at Green River Wednesday morning with pneumonia after an
illness of six days. Geo. W. Ace went to Green River to prepare the body for
burial and it was shipped to Corning, Iowa, where Mr. Hardin's relatives live.

Deceased was thirty-nine years of age and had lived in Rock Springs for a number
of years, where he was employed in the U. P. mines. He served two terms as
county treasurer and also one term as deputy county treasurer. After leaving the
county treasurer's office he was engaged in the liquor business until the time
of his death.

Deceased is survived by his wife and one little son, two brothers, Fred and
Albert, both of Rock Springs, and a sister, Mrs. Houck, of Prescot, Ia.

Deceased was a member of the Elk and Moose lodges, who attended the services
with a large number of the friends of the deceased and his family, which was
held before the body was shipped to Iowa yesterday on No. 10.

The bereaved family have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
