Susanna passed away on 21 November 1749 in Stafford County, Virginia, she was originally buried at a cemetery on her Father-in-Law, William Fitzhugh's, plantation estate, "Bedford," which was later relocated to St. Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery, King George County, Virginia.
