Roland was founder of The Brochu Insurance Agency which in 2010 celebrates its 60th Anniversary. The business continues to be owened by the Brochu family. Roland and "Cis" had 3 children; Kenneth R., Robert P. and Deanne T. Brochu. Roland was active in many civic organizations in the Chicopee area. He received many awards for his civic work through the years.
