VALLEY, AL -- Ms. Ruth Blanche Johnson, 74, of Valley died Thursday, 19 Apr 2001 at George H Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, 22 Apr 2001 at Shawmut Church of the Nazarene with Rev Eugene Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Shawmut Cemetery.
Ms. Johnson is survived by three sisters, Ethel Baker of Valley, AL, Kate Walters of Tuscaloosa, AL and Betty (Larry) Parrish of Jonesboro, GA; three brothers, Paul Johnson and O'Neal (Susan) Johnson of Valley, AL and Phillip (June) Johnson of Satellite Beach, FL; and eight nieces and nephews, Jennie Gunnels of Valley, AL, Jenny McDonald of Orlando, FL, Mary Anne Conn of Huntsville, AL, Patricia Lebel of Eau Gallie, FL; Labet Parrish Perry of Charleston, SC, Wink Cooper of Tuscaloosa, AL, Jean Harmon of Tampa, FL and Wayne Walters of Tallassee, AL.
Born 11 Oct 1926 in Tallapoosa County, AL, Ms. Johnson was a retired employee of Hudson-Thompson in Montgomery, AL. She was a member of Shawmut Church of the Nazarene.
