ROYAL CENTER — Ethel F. (Sally) Childers, 52,
Burrows, died at 2:03 a.m. Wednesday at
Memorial Hospital.
Born Sept. 21, 1927, in Ohlam County, Ky.
she was the daughter of Andy and Daisy
Lunsford Price. She was married May 2.1947, in
Sellersburg, to Samuel Childers, who survives.
A former employee at Pioneer Elementary
School, she was a member of the Royal Center
Eastern Star and Royal Center Pythian Sisters.
Surviving with the husband are two daughters,
Sandra Berkshire. Rt. 5, Logansport; and
Winona Scott, Rt. 2, Camden; two sisters,
Mary Goforth, Oaktown; and Carrie Barnes,
Charlestown; four grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.
One daughter, one son and two brothers
preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at
the Harnson-Metzger Funeral Home. Burial will
be in the Woodville Cemetery, Burrows.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday.
Eastern Star services will be at 8 p.m. Thursday.
