Mrs. Laura Jane Goff was born on January 2, 1864 and passed away on January 26, 1949 at the age of 85 years and 24 days. She was married to John Goff on March 2, 1884. To this union, five children were born, three of whom have preceded her in death, Minnie, Victor, Don. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Ben B. Fate of Flippin, Mrs. W. M. Ketter of Yellville, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Allie Noe of Flippin, one brother Clyde Williams of Oklahoma. She was united with the Baptist Church in 1886. All of her life was spent near her homeplace of Flippin where she enjoyed a wide friendship. Funeral services were conducted Friday by Rev Claude Crigle of Cotter assisted by Rev Ralph Slape of Flippin and burial was in the Flippin Cemetery.
