She was born on 12/24/44 in Beirut, Lebanon. She was married on 9/7/63 to Melkon Keshishian. They had a girl named Gina on 6/15/64 & a son Mike on 5/22/68. They relocated to the U.S. in 9/20/74. They started a whole new life here. Melkon & Mari worked hard all their live to support & raise their kids in a new & foreign country. Gina got married 7/1/84 to Sarkis Basteghian & had a beautiful girl named Melanie on 10/27/85. Melanie was the apple of Mari's life. She spend many days & hours helping raise Melanie. Melanie & Mari became very close 'til the end. Then in 8/31/91 Mike married Ani Terzian where they had a little girl named Talia on 5/2/96. Mari helped raise Talia as well. She loved both her granddaughters dearly. Mike & Ani had another little girl named Mari (after her) on 1/30/99. Unfortunately Mari never got to see her third grand daughter. Then on 3/1/98 Mari was rushed to the hospital where she fell in a coma and passed away on 3/5/98 from aneurysm to the brain. Her family, friends & relatives miss her very much because they lost a great mom, grandmother, daughter, wife & a friend. There was basically nothing that she could not do.
