She was born on September 18, 1882 in Haddonfield, New Jersey to Jane and George Everett. She was their eigth child. Jane and George emigrated from Wimbledon, England in 1872.
Education:
She attended the Haddonfield public school system and after graduating high school, she began working as a bookkeeper for a local merchant.
Marriage:
She married Prentice Carroll Reeve (1881-1947) on August 12, 1903 and they lived at 208 East Main Street in Haddonfield.
Haddonfield:
She was active in the Haddonfield Methodist Church. Throughout her marriage she was active in the congregations of each of the communities that they lived in. She was the mother of 4, 2 surviving to adulthood: Helen Winifred Reeve who married Howard P. Clarke and had the following children: Peter Howard, Sara Elizabeth, Mary Jane and Michael Reeve; and John Ethan Reeve.
Death:
Eva passed away April 11, 1968. At the time of her death she resided at the Methodist Home in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. Her funeral was held in the chapel in the Methodist Home followed by internment in the Methodist Cemetery in Haddonfield. She was buried next to her husband.
