She died Saturday (Nov. 30, 2002) at Tampa General Hospital in Florida, following an extended illness.
She was a native of Ware County but made her home in Pierce County most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Blackshear Church of God and the Happy Hearts Sunday School Class.
Her parents were Loy Lee "Fats" Taylor and Evelyn Amanda Hilton Taylor. Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Lori Anne Bowen, and two grand-daughters, Lori Noelle Bowen and Tesa Marie Bowen.
She is survived by her husband William "Buddy" Bowen of Blackshear; son and daughter-in-law, Will and April Bowen of Blackshear; three daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Darrell Evors and Anja and Donnie Evors all of Blackshear, and Libby and Paul Rowell of Hortense; two brothers, Johnny Wesley Taylor wife Barbara of Blackshear and Dr. James Lesley "Jimbo" Taylor wife Marcia of Waycross; nine grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, and Luke Evors, Erin, Emma-Leigh and Ethan Evors, and Morgan, Dillan and Autumn Bowen, all of Blackshear; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
