Hello, I am better known as Chip. I have always been interested in history. I took a Civil War History class in college and started looking for my ancestors with the help of my uncle. I am a volunteer firefigher of 22 years as well as an EMT.I am an Eagle Scout. I also belong to Col. James Crowther Camp #89 of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War in Tyrone, PA. I am also the Commander of the Juniata Regiment 110th PVI Co. A Sons of Veterans Reserve Unit in Tyrone, PA. I do some Civil War Re-enacting with various units and enjoy it. I have ties to the 148th PVI, 51st PVI, 49th PVI and the 7th Maryland Infantry Regiment. I really have a big intrest in Antietam because on ancestor wit the 51st PVI was killed at Burnside's Bridge. I have yet to find his grave and this could be due to him being an unknown in Antietam.If I can be of any help, please4 let me know. I also perform taps for veterans funerals.
