Bio
Hi...Randy V Jackson here...I joined "Find A Grave" on Tuesday October 20, 2015. I have been working on a family history project since the 80's. In 1990 I published a book: "JACKSONTOWN - A Chronicle of it's People", about our family in and around Vina, Alabama in Franklin County. The book is sold out. I am working on another volume to include names: Jones - Underwood - Walker - McKinney - Davis - Rollins - Ozbirn - Arnold - among others; and to correct some misspellings...spelling isn't one of my strong points. I was born in Michigan while my parents are from the Vina, AL area. I have worked for the American Red Cross in Fort Wayne, Indiana for 20 years. I am an avid photographer. I have photographed for an NBA Development League team the Fort Wayne Mad Ants for eight years. The Ants are an NBA affiliate team of the Indiana Pacers organization. I have had photo work published by several local newspapers and by one of our local universities...IPFW...Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne. My photo work made up a large portion of a coffee table book commerating a local Community Art Project: "Mastodons on Parade" in 2005. Several of my photographs have won awards including "Best of Show". My wife, Ronda, and I are both Master Gardeners. I look forward to assisting as able with grave and gravestone searches when possible...Rj
