Nene Valley Crematorium is the result of the Borough Council of Wellingborough's vision to invest taxpayers' money into a valuable service for the local community and beyond, which will eliminate the long road journeys to crematoria in other districts. It was also our wish to reduce the waiting times for cremation during busy periods, which adds to the burden of those who are grieving.

We visualised a new and beautiful building that will serve as a beacon of excellence for the people of Wellingborough and wider community.

Disabled access and parking:
There is disabled parking facilities at the crematorium, and also limited additional parking closer to the crematorium entrance for drivers with restricted mobility.

Passengers with mobility difficulties can be dropped off outside the waiting room so long as this is in advance of the funeral cortège or request use of a wheelchair, which is available from the crematorium. This can be arranged in advance and be waiting for your arrival.

We have 94 spaces for cars and space for two coaches.
