Tamer may not have been a Quaker as the family did not continue in the Quaker faith when they had moved to Ohio. The Nehemiah Smith Family Bible lists his birth date of 23 Mar 1757 and Tamer's 17 Sept 1769. Nehemiah died 23 Feb 1835 either in Guernsey Co., OH or Morrow Co., OH. Children listed are: Thomas (1789), Sarah (1791-1793), John (1793), Joseph (1795), Cynthia (1798), Jesse (1801), Aaron and Moses (1803), William (1809), Elizabeth (1813).
