Georgia Lee McCullough Harrold was the youngest of eight children born to Dr. Patrick Henry McCullough (1816-1892) and his first wife Rachel Ward Thornburg (1821-1864). On May 24, 1882 she married Charles Bradford Harrold (1855-1929). The couple had five children: Charles Clifford (b. 1883), Frank Lee (b. 1885), Grace Christine (b. 1886), Bessie Florence (b. 1890), and Blanche P. (b. 1893).
