Funeral services for Mrs Elizabeth Pfaff, 69, who died at her home on the Neppel highway last week, were held from the Ruff Evangelical church on Saturday, the Rev Mr Hunsberger officiating. Burial was in the Ruff Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, John; four sons, John Jr, and Fred, Spanaway; William at Ruff; and Bennie, Ritzville; one daughter, Mrs Katie Baker, Tacoma, and 5 grandchildren. Mrs Pfaff was born in Russia but has lived in this country for 49 years. --Odessa Record: Jan 29, 1948
