Harry Leroy Lloyd, 68 years old, 1317 Forty-fourth street, Rock Island, died of a cerebral hemorrhage caused by high blood pressure at 6:15 o'clock this morning in his home after a week's illness. He had resided in this city for the last seven years and had been employed by the International Harvester company for six years.
Mr. Lloyd was born in Catham, Ontario, Canada, on Feb. 28, 1866. When three years old, he moved with his parents to Atkinson, Ill., where he resided until moving to Rock Island in 1927. He married Miss Agnes Park in Atkinson on Dec. 31, 1895. Mr. Lloyd was a member of the First Baptist church, Moline, the Masons and Modern Woodmen.
Surviving are the widow; a son, Lyle Lloyd of Forest Park, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Kay of Rock Island, Mrs. Sahra Porter of Atkinson and Mrs. Gertrude Bell of Great Bend, Kan.; a brother, George Lloyd of Oakland, Calif., and a grandchild.
The body was removed to Knox funeral home, Moline, pending funeral arrangements.
