Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Anna Street Church of Christ with Mr. Lyndon Latham officiating. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.
Vera was born Dec. 5, 1929, in Estelline to George and Sarah Clark. She loved to visit with friends and family. She was a loving, loyal faithful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Lewis Rogers; a son, Ronald Rogers; her sisters, Josie Worth, Pearl Raper and Betty Dudley; and a brother, George Wesley Clark.
Survivors include a son, Geoffrey Rogers and wife Karen of San Antonio; two granddaughters, Ellie and Kelsey Rogers of San Antonio; and other family and friends.
The family suggests memorials be to Christian Relief Fund.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
