KENNEL, Anson Passed away on Monday March 20, 2017 at Nitview Community, New Hamburg. Anson was born 93 years ago in Wilmot Township and was the son of the late Albert and Katherine (Erb) Kennel. Beloved husband of Esther (Schwartzentruber) Kennel whom he married October 7, 1950. Loving father of Anita Watson (Jim), Cliff Kennel (Esther), Steve Kennel (Shirley), Arne Kennel (Sue), Charlotte Scheerer (Kevin). Sadly missed by his ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also remembered by the Schwartzentruber Family and many nieces and nephews. Anson was predeceased by his sisters and brothers Mabel Kennel, Reuben Kennel (Florence) (Mabel), Adeline Brenneman (Joe), Fanny Gingerich (Reuben), Eileen Calvert (Edward), Edgar Kennel (Eileen), Lillian Kennel. Anson was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, Baden. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Wednesday March 22, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. A private family interment will take place prior to the funeral service in Steinmann Mennonite Cemetery. The funeral service to celebrate Anson's life will take place on Thursday March 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Steinmann Mennonite Church, Baden.
